Announcement on the Reopening of PERI Chapters

(December 16, 2020) The PERI Board of Trustees met yesterday and as a result of the resurgence of COVID-19 cases, the board strongly recommends that chapters remain closed through March 2021. Chapters may conduct meetings via Zoom or other digital conferencing platforms at any time.  Additionally, if chapters wish to conduct in-person meetings, they may do so if they can comply with the following:

  • The meeting location (whether the former meeting location or a new one) must be open to the public and able to accommodate the chapter members pursuant to current state, county and/or local health regulations.
  • Chapters will assume full responsibility for ensuring these safety protocols are followed in their entirety.
  • Any questions or concerns regarding this policy should be discussed with your district representative prior to scheduling an in-person meeting or event.

The safety of all PERI members is first and foremost as chapters decide when and how to reopen.  We know that 2020 has been a difficult year in so many respects and like you, PERI is eager to eventually move on beyond the Pandemic in 2021 and return to life as normal.
