PERI Constitution and Bylaws Information
PERI’s Bylaws are the governing framework that guides how the association operates on behalf of its members. They define PERI’s purpose as a nonprofit dedicated to protecting the pensions and benefits of Ohio’s OPERS retirees, and they set out the rules for membership, the Board of Trustees and its officers, the district and chapter structure, standing committees, elections, and meetings.
Together, these provisions ensure PERI is led with the accountability, transparency, and sound governance our members expect. The current Bylaws were approved by the Board of Trustees on April 3, 2026.
