PERI is launching a fundraising campaign to cover rising costs in rent, postage, and printing. We maintain a $2 million reserve for potential major legal actions, such as defending the defined benefit plan. Attorney’s fees for such legal defense can reach $500,000 to $700,000 per issue. This reserved fund remains dedicated to those purposes only. Meanwhile, operational costs have risen, resulting in a shortfall of approximately $90,000, while current investment returns are just over $20,000.
